The studio is a great place to get creative and with this in mind we have devised a range of courses with a variety of specific goals. The 6 week Hand Building course focuses on a mix of functional and sculptural hand building techniques. You will be guided through each session by our talented teaching artists Elen Bowen & Rose Hughes.

THROWING

Come and join us at Cardiff Pottery Workshops for the ever popular throwing classes. Master the art of the potters wheel in our fun and friendly studio with our highly skilled tutors guiding you all the way. You will work to a specially developed 6 week plan which has been devised to take you step by step through the process of throwing for beginners.

The studio is a great place to be on a weekend and with that in mind we have devised a range of short courses with a variety of specific goals. Saturdays, our focus is on functional hand built pieces. You will be guided through each session by one of our talented teaching artists. These classes are great fun and your creations will be a wonderful keepsake of your pottery experience.
*Vouchers are for a 3 hour workshop but can be used towards a longer workshop.
