Cardiff Pottery Workshops - Studio Code of Conduct
Your Safety Matters to Us!
With 2020 being a year of huge change for everyone we have also brought about many changes to enable the studio to continue serving its community.
A face mask must be worn inside the studio.
The studio layout is spacious and provides a clear 2m social distancing rule for both hand building tables and throwing wheels.
We already run a strict clean down process because we are a pottery and we now have added antibacterial spray which is used on all tools, machinery and surfaced after each use and throughout the day.
Hand sanitiser is available at each entrance and exit and we have additional sanitisers throughout the pottery.
Class sizes will be kept to a minimum and staggered arrival times for classes and members will now be in place.
Additional teaching aids have been introduced such as large screens for watching live demonstrations.
Movement around the studio will be kept to a minimum with individual tool packs.
Students will be allocated their workspace and those coming from the same household will be positioned on the same table or throwing wheels next to one another.
Refreshments are available on request.
Studio Code of Conduct
The measure we have put in place will create a safe environment for anyone who wishes to come to Cardiff Pottery Workshops. We will also expect those who enter the studio to follow a strict code of conduct. Failure to meet these measures in any way will result in being asked to leave the pottery with no reimbursement. The team at Cardiff Pottery Workshops have worked tirelessly to ensure the studio can open safely. We endeavour to keep our studio a place to build community and friendships even with a little extra distance between us.
